Sir Kensington’s for the Win!

Sir Kensington's for the WinSir Kensington’s is all over our hearts and palates this week. Sir Kensington’s is a young company that is taking the condiment world by storm.

They started with two Ketchups, Classic and Spiced, that the founders whipped up in their dorm room at Brown University and taste-tested on their classmates. The ketchup has 50% less sugar (50%!!), no high-fructose corn syrup, AND it’s Non-GMO Project Verified. Our Deliciously Crispy Oven Baked Fries are even more amazing dipped in some of this “freaking delicious ketchup.”~@bespokepost via TwitterSir Kensington's for the win

Then they introduced three mustards, Spicy Brown, Dijon, and Yellow; made using #1 Grade mustard seed and also Non-GMO Project Verified. We used the Spicy Brown Mustard on our slow-cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner. Definitely the best choice to amp up this classic boiled fare.Sir Kensington's for the win

And for the icing on the cake…or the Cake itself!…they’ve brought to market five different mayos: Classic Mayonnaise, Chipotle Mayonnaise, Sriracha Mayonnaise, Special Sauce, and Dijonnaise.

Sir Kensington’s Classic Mayonnaise is truly the miracle product, in my most humble opinion. First of all, these spreads are made with certified humane, range-free eggs and sunflower oil. They are also Non-GMO Project Verified AND contain 33% less saturated fat! Their Mayonnaise Manifesto, “Source carefully, prepare artfully, and apply liberally.”

Now, I don’t know about you, but mayonnaise has never been my favorite condiment. Because what we get out of the regular grocery store jars looks more like a solid blob (almost plastic-y) than the silky goodness that seductively scoops up from Sir Kensington’s jar of mayonnaise. The flavors are so perfectly balanced, vivid, and bright, that when you use this in ANY dish, whether cooked or uncooked, it will add a dimension that you are unaccustomed to getting from regular mayo. We chose the Chipotle Mayo and the Sriracha Mayo this week to make our devilishly good Deviled Eggs. So easy, yet so tasty! Definitely not your mom’s deviled eggs.

And even if you aren’t a bread baker, be sure to try the Irish Soda Bread recipe. An easy quick bread perfect with a Sunday Supper or for breakfast the morning after. Heck, I am going to make a sandwich with a couple of slices and use Sir Kensington’s Dijonnaise!Sir Kensington's for the win

So whatever you cook, bake or eat this week don’t be caught without your Sir Kensington’s!!
