It’s a New Year and this week we started with 2 of our Gr8 Resolutions: A couple times a month you will see ideas for Sunday Suppers with the family; and we are changing some Tuesdays to “Twosdays,” with ideas for dinners for two.
Jurga posted her recipe for Filet Mignon with Creamy Madeira Mushroom Sauce, perfect for a romantic evening in with your favorite person.
National Soul Food Day was Friday so Debbie shared one of her family favorites, Black-Eyed Peas…nothin’ is better than a family recipe to warm the soul.
And for dessert…try Anna’s Oatmeal Cookies, almost health food! (And, added bonus, they are gluten-free!)
Next week will be all about snacks…ideas to freshen up your repertoire for the kids or when you have weekend drop-in company.
We’ve been given today, let’s #makeitGr8!
Kyle, Jurga, Debbie, and Anna
I learned something interesting this week, there is a musical comedy opening in April on Broadway called Nerds. It’s about Bill Gates and Steve Jobs and the competition between the Microsoft and Apple bosses. Two men who, if not for them, we may not be blogging today. If you are planning a trip to the Big Apple, check it out. xoxo, Anna
