Galentine’s Day Fun with Gr8 Friends

As you probably know, I love to entertain… for almost any occasion. One of my favorite parties is a gal pal party. And what better time to throw a party for the besties than Galentine’s Day? This year a few of my friends came over and we had a lovely evening drinking, eating, and chatting.Galentine's Day Pink Champagne and glasses

Pink was the color of the evening so I offered two pink drink options, pink champagne and Debbie’s Pink Lemonade Margaritas. Everyone chose the Margaritas because they were so delicious AND pretty! (I guess that means they were pretty delicious!)Galentine's Day Pink Lemonade Margarita Toast

Margaritas are an easy cocktail because they can be mixed up ahead of time. And these lovely glasses are not expensive. They are from CB2, beautiful and reasonably priced! I simply added heart stickers to the base to dress them up a bit! Voilà! Valentine glasses!Galentine's Day flower centerpiece

The decorations are fresh flowers, some paper goods from the party store and cute Valentine napkins. Don’t forget to add a pink boa for fun! Galentine's Day Table

I used a variety of candle holders for tapers and then for the buffet I made cute candle holders using some round vases and candy hearts. Galentine's Day heart candy candle holder

For the food I decided on appetizers; ladies love to graze! And I wanted to keep it fairly easy. When hanging out with the gals no one needs to be exhausted… girls just wanna have fun!

My Tomato Soup was a hit! We served it in cute little pink cups that Debbie brought. I made Jurga’s Crab Cake recipe using a small heart shaped cookie cutter. This made the cakes bite sized AND a festive heart shape! Galentine's Day heart shaped crab cakes

Kyle brought Tomato Crostini with Whipped Feta, a Great 8 Friends favorite! Just look at those colors!

Kyle made her Homemade Peanut Butter Cups, mmmm-mmmm; and I bought donuts from the best donut shop in the area to complete our dessert selections.

Everyone must have had a Gr8 time because before we knew it, it was 11:30 PM! A party isn’t complete until you’ve surprised your friends with a sweet party favor. I ordered these beautiful bath salts from The Little Market, a non-profit founded by women to empower women. What could be more perfect?Galentine's Day Bath Salts

So grab your gal pals, choose a few simple recipes and have a Gr8 evening! Happy Galentine’s Day! Galentine's Day Ladies
